A downloadable game for Windows

"It all started in 1954. The person in the Gojira suit was unknown at the time..."

TakaNeko Gaming is happy to announce that we are developing our first indie game based on the acclaimed analog horror series by Unknowingly - "The Man in the Suit". The game is a first-person horror experience that explores an original take on the first entry, "Godzilla Suit Incident (1954)".

Synopsis

Late at night, you hear a knocking at your door. A strange package arrives on your doorstep... a bootleg copy of Gojira (1954). Upon further viewing, you realize that there is something sinister about this tape. It has a message for you... a dead man's final request.

"See with your own eyes, the horror they tried to hide from you. Let me tell you the truth surrounding the production of Gojira."

Based on the analog horror series by Unknowingly.

About the Game

"The Project G Incident - Tape 1" is a first-person horror experience that expands on the events of the first tape in the analog horror series from the perspective of the narrator who was there during the production of Gojira. Explore the studio, learn its dark secrets, and always be careful because you don't know who or what could be watching you...

About the Developer

TakaNeko Gaming is an indie game studio founded in early 2024. We are led by a single developer who has a couple of degrees that have nothing to do with gaming, so diving into game development has been a whirlwind of joy and frustration. Our game engine of choice is Unreal Engine 5. About five months into the project, the game was still missing its star, Goji. Needless to say, Blender is a cruel mistress indeed. We soon found out that a horror game is nothing without the right kind of music and so a fated alliance was forged! Music for three specific tracks in the game will be provided generously by ELunacy.

Development and Release

"The Project G Incident - Tape 1" has been in development for 10 months so far, and will be releasing before the end of 2024. A playable build is available internally with every new iteration being closer to our vision than the last. The project will be available to download on Itch.io with other locations pending until we are closer to completing the game.

Future updates surrounding this project will include DevLog videos, and live game development. Once TakaNeko Gaming establishes that all important foothold on social media, please consider following us for more information!

Because I want to be a god who is respected by people. I want to be the meat of this beast...

Final Words

We here at TakaNeko Gaming are excited for the release of our FIRST GAME in the near future and would like to extend our thanks to Unknowingly, fans of the "Man in the Suit" series, the lovers of all things Godzilla, and anyone curious to see a fledgling game development studio get its start.
